Prostate Cancer Foundation
The Prostate Cancer Foundation is unique in that it brings together the healthcare professionals who diagnose, treat and research prostate cancer; the men whose lives are affected by a diagnosis of prostate cancer; and the medical and pharmaceutical industry who provide the diagnostics and treatments for prostate cancer.
These 3 groups work together to improve clinical standards, raise awareness about prostate cancer, educate men about the disease and the available treatment options and to support men with prostate cancer and their families.
The Foundation is supported by donations, educational grants and corporate memberships. An annual awareness and fund-raising campaign called Suit Up September is run during September which is prostate cancer awareness month.
